Children's Day Celebration
Happy Children’s Day 2018
Like every year, this year also Don Bosco School, Ranchi celebrated ‘Children’s Day’ with zeal and enthusiasm. The short programme began with the fancy dress competition for the junior students of classes L.K.G. to Std. II. It was very interesting to see the tiny-tots dressed up as great personalities, animals, fruits, soldiers etc. When the students came on the stage dressed up as superheroes, like spiderman and superman, the crowd cheered the most. After the fancy-dress there was a song sung by the music teacher Sir Thanmi Maram.
Next, there was a song ‘we have a dream, a song to sing’ sung by Miss Rose Mary. The next song was sung by a little girl named Manha Fayyaz. The song ‘pal, pal dil ke paas’ was sung by her very melodiously.
There was a speech given by Sir Imam Mallick in which he spoke about the value of children in the lives of parents and teachers. He also emphasized that the children must understand that they are the future of any nation and must strive to be better citizens. Then, there was a song sung by Sir Mark Barker, Sir Andrew Peter and Sir Thanmi Maram.
The entire program was very well anchored by Sir Mark Barker. This short programme was enjoyed by all the students as well as the parents of the junior students. The concluding speech and vote of thanks was given by the vice-principal, Rec. Fr. Nirmal Toppo.
Happy Children’s Day 2018.
