In the world of science and technology computers and laptops have become an indispensable part of the teaching and learning process. With this view, the Junior Computer Lab was inaugurated at Don Bosco School, Kokar on 27th September, 2018. A total of 54 HP laptops, sponsored by Ed-Impact, have been installed in the Junior Computer Lab for the students of classes 1 to 5.
The ribbon was cut by the chief-guest for the occasion, Mrs. Sujata Kachhap, the ward councillor of Kokar. In her speech she expressed her immense joy to see the school moving towards excellence. She also said that she feels to be a part of the school as both her daughters have studied from the same school. The inauguration ceremony was attended by The Rector, Rev. Fr. Michael Pedikayal, Parish Priest of Kokar Parish Rev Fr. Charles Xalxo, The Administrator Rev. Fr. Jerry Majella, The Principal Rev. Fr. Jyotish Kindo, The Vice-Principal Rev. Fr. Nirmal Toppo, students and the parents of the Junior Section.
On the same day few more desktops were added in the Senior Computer Lab. The number has now risen from 35 to 45 desktops in the Senior Computer Lab.
This day witnessed yet another step towards building a better study environment in the premises of Don Bosco School, Kokar.
